In 2007, I got a chance to participate in Dr. Setareh Beheshti`s classes – a faculty member of the school of fine arts in The University Of Tehran. Under her instructions I got introduced to Suzuki school of violin and viola and simultaneously started to teach a few kids in local private music academies in Guilan province.
With increasing enthusiasm toward teaching violin and with avocation and encouragements of Dr. Beheshti I expanded my teaching career in different cities of Guilan and started to held piano accompaniment classes beside the individual trainings. i held my first student recital with for of my most talented students a seven years old boy and three ten years old girls with piano accompaniment. They played pieces from Suzuki 2, 3 and 4. After that each year I had these recitals at least once in different cities which I was teaching.
Beside classical music I also have conducted several educational Iranian and fusion bands and ensembles in different private music academies which I arranged folk and traditional pieces for them.
In 2008, my 8 years student, Paniz Rezajooyee have won the first prize in Iran`s private music academies festival playing Adagio Albinoni, the prize that two years later she has won again in the same festival in Rasht with performing 3 movements of A minor concerto by Vivaldi.
In 2009 I entered BA course in Iranian music performance in The University of Guilan, school of Architecture and Arts and graduated in 2014 and immediately enrolled MA course in Ethnomusicology in University of Arts school of Music.
In 2012, I arranged three Irish melodies for three of violin students accompanied by a keyboard and drums for their performance in Shamse Festival in Capital Tehran, and they won the first prize.
In the same year, with cooperation of some of my best colleagues we decided to stablish a chamber orchestra in Rasht the Capital of province Guilan to recruit the young violin , viola , cello ,… intermediate students. The Guilan Chamber Orchestra has had 3 independent concerts each year performing different repertoires including classical, national and folk pieces. In our last concert in February 2015, Guilan Orchstra performed two of my arrangements including a folk and an Iranian classic song.
Regarding the fact that the educational objectives was the primary Goal of the Orchestra, we held different masterclasses for strings , wood winds ,brass and choral sections inviting professional conductors like Maestro Shahdad Ruhani.
In recent 10 years, my concentration as a violin and viola teacher is to study different approaches to string pedagogy to achieve a more reliable teaching-learning process, in order to do this I started to observe different teachers` classes in both universities and private academies in Tehran. For other thing I held some my classes in group forms to benefit from communicative characteristic of teaching. Analyzing the results from both observations and group rehearsals I am now trying to organize a comprehensive and flexible plan of teaching.
